Born in Spain and raised in France, Thierry Rosset spent most of his professional life in several countries of the Far East. He moved to San Francisco in 1992 and got involved in art education. His work has been exhibited in France and more than fifty times throughout the United States from the east to west coasts mostly through juried competitions. In San Francisco, he had exhibitions at Joe Kish gallery, ISDA and 8 Gallery. For many years he concentrated on linocuts. He received juror’s or purchase awards from LAPS, Pacifica and McNeese University in Louisiana. Thierry and his wife Martine Jardel, who is an accomplished painter, have been generous donors to Art for AIDS. Thierry passed away in 2012.
