Anselmo is a Bay Area Area-based fine art photographer who works on photographic projects in Cuba, New Orleans, and the San Francisco area, developing film-based portfolios prompted by the forgotten urban landscape. Exhibiting primarily in the U.S.United States and Latin America, he also operates a large format fine art digital printing studio and regularly conducts photography field workshops in Cuba, where he has presented numerous exhibitions of his large-format social-documentary images. Exploring Havana’s unique historical/architectural narrative, he is now developing video documentary projects related to the city’s restoration programs. Anselmo also curates United States exhibitions of black and white images by renowned contemporary Cuban photographers and is a visiting lecturer at the Havana School of Creative Photography.
