Part of what is most interesting in the process and creation of these large-scale botanical prints is that the work begins at the very origins of the traditional medium of photography, the photogram. No camera or film is used in the creation of these prints. Instead, each botanical image is first printed and processed by hand using only the actual plant material, white light, traditional black and white silver gelatin paper, and traditional photographic chemicals. Then the images are scanned at high resolution enabling them to be printed at sizes that are only made possible by utilizing the most current technology available.

Images are printed using selenium tone carbon-based pigment on Archival Fine Art Hahnemuhle paper. Each limited-edition print is signed and numbered by the artist. Editions are limited to five numbered and signed prints and two A/P prints.
