Serena Bocchino has a Masters Degree from New York University, and has received recognition from many institutions, including New York City’s Artists Space, P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Pollock-Krasner Foundation and the Rutgers Center for Innovative Print and Paper have awarded Ms. Bocchino Fellowship grants. In addition, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts has recognized and awarded her in both painting and drawing. Her work is represented in public, private, and corporate collections around the world. New York City galleries began showing Serena Bocchino’s work in 1985. Since then, U.S. and international galleries and museums, such as, Exhibit A in Soho, NY; Art Haus in San Francisco, CA; Jeffrey Coploff Fine Art Ltd. in Chelsea, NY; Sears/Peyton in Chelsea, NY; the State Museum in Trenton, NY; Princeton University in Princeton, NJ; Studio Bocchi in Rome, Italy; Galerie du Tableau in Marseilles, France; have featured Bocchino’s work in solo and group exhibitions.
