This is a new etching that David Avery recently completed as a tribute to these dark times, titled “The Last Roundup,” which attempts with affection to do homage to the inspired moralist drolleries of Hieronymus Bosch with respect to our impending environmental doom.

Avery’s work is included in the collections of the Library of Congress, the Fogg Museum at Harvard University, the New York Public Library, the Achenbach Foundation for the Graphic Arts, and the Stanford University Library among others, and has been noted in the New York Times, and the Washington Post.
