Chris Turner is an emerging artist who attended New York University where he received a B.A. in Art History and Psychology in 1993. He is largely self-taught as a photographer, and has been doing portrait and landscape photography full-time for the past three years and part time for over 12 years. Prior to taking on his preferred vocation as a photographer, he was a web-developer.

In January 2016, some of his landscapes were part of a group show presented by SLATE Art. His nighttime landscape series has been shown by Poetica Art in San Francisco. Chris Turner enjoys working at night with long exposures to explore the details invisible to the naked eye. Chris has also been working on a series featuring Queer Elders. This series examines the LGBT stories of men and women over 60 years old and tells the story of those who grew up queer in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. This series has recently been exhibited at the AMP Gallery in Provincetown.
