A large-format fine art photographer living in Redwood City, California, Charles works on photographic projects in Cuba, New Orleans and the San Francisco Bay Area, developing portfolios of paper and silk fabric images prompted by the forgotten urban landscape. He actively exhibits in solo and group shows on social themes and produces prints for other photographers at his fine art printing service, Anselmo Image Works. He continues to curate U.S. exhibitions of black and white images by well-known Cuban photographers, and regularly conducts photography field workshops to Havana, Cuba.
